Award winning audio engineer Bill Lacey has over 20 years of experience servicing the film, television, radio, advertising and record industries.

His post-production work includes sound design and mixing for the Emmy nominated “Phantom Shares” for Bloomberg Television as well as sound restoration of the classic Fellini film “La Dolce Vita,” for which he received a prestigious CEDAR Award.  From promos to commercials, short and long format, documentary and narrative, Bill has worked in almost all formats of the broadcast television and film industries.

Bill has restored and mastered over 300 CDs for clients such as RCA, Rhino Records and BMG Classics, including the Grammy Winning “Heifetz Collection.” He recently restored Season 4 of NBC’s Saturday Night Live (DVD box set).

Bill also recorded the music soundtrack to the Martin Scorsese film “Cape Fear” (starring Robert DeNiro, Nick Nolte and Jessica Lange) and remixed the soundtrack CD for the Oscar winning film “The Sound Of Music” (starring Julie Andrews and Christopher Plummer).

Bill has also written for the esteemed British publication “Sound On Sound” and lectures on ’sound design’ at Montclair State University in New Jersey.
